Eagles Rocked: Revelation Daly Cherry-Evans has told Manly he will not be at club in 2026 but may not be retiring with links to rival Sydney club

Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles captain, premiership-winner and club legend Daly Cherry-Evans has reportedly told the Eagles season 2025 will be his last at Brookvale Oval.

Channel Nine journalist Danny Weidler has broken the news Cherry-Evans, who was the halfback when Manly won the premiership in 2011, has told the club he won’t be there in 2026.

According to Weidler, Cherry-Evans is unsure if he will retire.

The Kangaroos and Maroons great has recently been linked to a move to St George Illawarra.

Manly’s halfback has played 332 games for the Sea Eagles, 25 for Queensland 21 for Australia.
