
The South Sydney Rabbitohs have confirmed devasting news for their star forward Cam Murray who went down at training on Wednesday morning with what is being reported as a ruptured Achilles tendon.
The injury could rule the Kangaroo out for upwards of eight months.
“Rabbitohs captain Cameron Murray has a suspected ruptured Achilles tendon suffered at training today (19 Feb)”, the Rabbitohs said in a statement on their website.

“He will get scans, however he is not expected to be available to play in the coming months.
“Rabbitohs fullback Latrell Mitchell has been ruled out of this Saturday’s Charity Shield with a hamstring complaint. He will get scans to determine the extent of the injury.
At the same time, Souths also revealed Latrell Mitchell had suffered a hamstring injury which will rule him out of the Charity Shield in Mudgee this weekend against St George Illawarra.
