Australian Wallabies stars Mark Nawaqanitawase and Carter Gordon are set to be immediately released from the remainder of their deals with the ARU according to The Sydney Morning Herald.

Both missed selection for the World Cup but Nawaqanitawase is set to represent Australia at the Olympics.

The pair have signed NRL deals with the Sydney Roosters and Gold Coast Titans respectively.
