NSW Blues enforcer Liam Martin has called out the supposed “Queensland spirit” ahead of what may end up being a spiteful Game III at Lang Park.
The Blues smashed the Maroons in Game II and the Maroons will now start as underdogs for the final game.
“It frustrates you a little when they talk about all the tough times they go through,” Martin told AAP.
“But I know from personal experience the tough times the Temora community has gone through.
“There is definitely a spirit in NSW as well.
“Hopefully we show that”.
The third and final game of the 2024 series sold out last week.
