The Sydney Roosters have added even more depth to their 2024 roster with the arrival of Kiwi International Dean Whare to their affiliate side, Glebe Dirty Reds.

Whare, 34, debuted for the Reds over the weekend in a 24-20 win over Ryde-Eastwood with Glebe also featuring fellow former NRL players Kane Evans and Craig Garvey.

The Dirty Reds play in the open-age Ron Massey Cup – one level below NSW Cup.

Whare, born in Rotorua, has played 19 games for New Zealand, 155 in the NRL and has spent the last three seasons in the English Super League.
