South Sydney Rabbitohs great Damien Cook has reportedly signed with his former club St George Illawarra from 2025 on a two-year deal worth $1 million.

The veteran will form a partnership with current Dragons hooker and rising star Jacob Liddle.

According to a story broken on foxsports.com.au on Wednesday morning, Cook has already told Souths teammates he is headed back to Wollongong and 2024 will be his last with the Bunnies.

It comes just a day after Jeremy Marshall-King recommitted to the Dolphins for three more seasons despite strong links with Wayne Bennett who was returning to Souths with some believing Bennett would accept Cook as his dummy half for 2025.
