“Looks like he is gunna be right to play”: Blues teammate back Nicho Hynes to be right for Game I despite missing training

New South Wales Blues halfback Nicho Hynes made an entire state nervous on Wednesday when the Cronulla star didn’t train with the Blues.

Due to his troubled calf injury, Hynes was rested and replaced by Luke Keary during a training run in the Blue Mountains.

But teammate Angus Crichton wasn’t that phased by it all.

“We all sort of already knew that was the plan,” Crichton said.

“We’ve got a lot of belief in our physio team, Nicho and the staff to make sure that if he’s not okay, he won’t play.

“At the minute, it looks like he is gunna be right to play.”
