New Zealand Warriors’ star recruit for 2025 James Fisher-Harris has revealed that he would have finished his career at the Penrith Panthers if not given the chance to return home.
Arguably the NRL’s best prop-forward, the three-time premiership-winner told stuff.co.nz podcast ‘League of our own’ that he wouldn’t play for anyone else except for the Warriors.
“It’s a bit about family, but at the same time, I trust Webby (coach Andrew Webster), he was a big one,” Fisher-Harris said.
“And bro, there’s no other place I’d go, I don’t like any other team with a passion.
“I’ve said this from the start, the only other place I’ll go is home.”
Fisher-Harris has signed for four seasons with the Auckland club from next season.
