Melbourne Storm General Manager of football Frank Ponissi says the club will not rush superstar Cameron Munster back from a groin injury.
Munster missed the opening round win against the Penrith Panthers at AAMI Park.
“Given the time of the season the medical staff are being very conservative at the moment, but if he’s okay for next Sunday against Newcastle, we’ll play him,” Ponissi said in a club statement.
Meanwhile it is being reported the Brisbane Broncos are actively back on the open market to find an additional second rower to join them with immediate effect.
