Manly-Warringah debutant Samuela Fainu is now at the centre of the post-match alteration long after full-time Campbelltown Stadium on Sunday between Wests Tigers half Brandon Wakeham and Eagles forward Josh Aloiai.

It has been widely reported Aloiai and Wakeham had a heated altercation in the dressing rooms where Aloiai invited Wakeham into the car park and Wakeham even walking into the Manly sheds to continue the beef.

The Sydney Morning Herald has now revealed that an on-field incident could have sparked the entire thing with audio from the wet and wild game at Leumeah picking up Wakeham yapping to the referee that Fainu “spat at my face”.

Manly eventually held on for a 22-16 win.

Samuela Fainu is the brother of Manase – a former Manly player currently in prison for stabbing someone.

Their other brother Sione currently plays lower grades at Wests Tigers.
