South Sydney Rabbitohs superstar Latrell Mitchell believes his side is about to turn the corner after a frustrating start to the season.
The Rabbitohs currently sit 13th with a 2-3 record but includes several tight tussles in losses to Penrith and the Melbourne Storm.
“We had a conversation as leaders this morning [Monday] and we know what we need to work on at training this week,” Mitchell said.
“I think that instead of chasing our tails we should be starting earlier. For me personally I know that I need to get my hands on the ball a bit earlier and flip the mentality, but it is Round 5 and we don’t need to panic.
“It is an individual thing. I think I need to make more of an impact on the team and take a carry or two.”
