“The bone’s still sticking out”: Cameron Munster hopeful of round two Bulldogs clash despite ugly injury

The Melbourne Storm will be hoping to have superstar Cameron Munster available next week after suffering a compound dislocation to his finger in the Storm’s classic golden point win over Parramatta on Thursday night.

Munster was taken from the field before half-time where it was soon revealed the bone was sticking out of his finger.

Surprisingly, Munster came back out of the second half.

“The bone’s still sticking out so, look, it’s not ideal,” Munster told the ABC Sport after the match.

“But I’ll go back and have a look in Melbourne and see what I can do.”

The Storm play Canterbury in round two at AAMI Park.
