Ryan Papenhuyzen has shot down speculation the Melbourne Storm superstar will be returning earlier than expected from injury despite reports he could be back within two months.

Speaking to Triple M, the flying fullback said his comeback might be further away than anticipated.

“Something came out the other week that I’d be back around rounds 6-8, that’s a little bit ambitious at the moment. It’s a slow process.”
