Legendary five-eigth Benji Marshall is set to officially announce his retirement from the game this afternoon 2pm Brisbane time.
The South Sydney Rabbitohs have confirmed the press conference which see the curtain come down on the 36-year-old’s career.
A premiership-winning with Wests Tigers in 2005, Marshall also helped steer the Kiwis to a shock World Cup victory in 2008 and won almost every other award in the game.
The veteran turned the clock back in 2021 as an integral part of Wayne Bennett’s Souths outfit that narrowly went down to the Panthers in this season’s grand final.
