COVID: Queensland finally allowed to become the centre of the rugby league universe

The National Rugby League is shifting the premiership to Queensland as the COVID pandemic in Sydney worsens.

As of Sunday night, twelve clubs will shift over the border to the Sunshine State to keep the premiership alive.

Queensland Government have been in deep and very quick discussion with the NRL but it appears wives and children will be included in the bubble.

Games will be played in Brisbane, Gold Coast and the sunshine coast.

Players, officials and family members will need to isolate for 14 days but will then be released to live semi-regular lives around QLD.
