It is all over.

Cameron Smith has officially confirmed his retirement from the game.

The former Australian, Queensland and Melbourne Storm captain confirmed at a press conference on Wednesday that he would not be playing on in 2021 at a rival club.

His announcement came at the unveiling of two new statues of himself and long-time teammate Billy Slater, outside AAMI Park.

He retires a one-club man.

Fans, clubs and experts around the country continue to pay their respects to a man who has done everything in the sport and then some.
