Long suffering St George Illawarra Dragons fans may be in for a long 2021 but good times might be just around the corner with a batch of young guns on the cusp of pushing for first grade.
Several members of the 2019 S.G Ball-winning Steelers squad impressed last weekend against Cronulla at Shark Park.
“Seeing how good Tyrell (Sloan), Junior (Amone), the twins (Mat and Max Feagai) are all going is exciting to see because I played all my junior reps with all of them,” young teammate Jayden Sullivan said.

“I was lucky enough to captain our S.G Ball team and I’ve got a really close bond with pretty much all the boys in that team.
“You saw how good they went in the trial and I just thought ‘wow, we can really make something special here’.”
The Dragons defeated the Sharks last weekend and play Parramatta tonight at Kogarah.
Parramatta have named several familiar names including Michael Oldfield, Keegan Hipgrave, Will Smith, Joey Lussick and Tom Opacic.
