South Sydney Rabbitohs signing Jai Arrow has revealed the extent of the online abuse he and his family received after an incident in Game III of last year’s State of Origin series.

Arrow grabbed at an unconscious James Tedesco while prone on the ground with the Queenslander coming over the top.

It was an unsavory incident with many NSW fans seeing red.

Some took it way too far by threatening Arrow, his mother, sisters and even his 11-year-old nephew.

“It was pretty bad to be honest… I got off the field and a couple of hours later I check my social media and it got pretty bad,” Arrow told SEN.

“I probably couldn’t even say some of the messages I got on there. ‘If I see you in the street, I’ll hit you with a bus’ and stuff like which was pretty weird, I sort of laughed it off.

“My mum got messages, my two sisters got messages, my little nephew got messages as well.

“That was probably the biggest thing that annoyed me… an 11-year-old kid getting threats of getting bashed.”
