Manly Sea Eagles rookie Keith Titmuss has died after complications at pre-season training in Narrabeen on Monday.
The 20-year-old NRL squad member fell sick after training and was rushed to hospital via ambulance but died a short time later.
“We are all devastated by this news,’’ coach Des Hasler said.
“Keith was a very popular character amongst the playing group. He will be sorely missed but never forgotten by the Sea Eagles.”
Destined for an NRL debut in 2021, the forward passed away at Royal North Shore on Monday evening.
According to reports, Titmuss had just completed a grueling two-hour training session which began at 9am on Monday morning.
Both Hasler and Manly CEO Stephen Humphreys were with family members at the hospital when doctors confirmed the horror news.
