Brad Fittler doesn’t care what you think. That’s the message from the NSW Blues coach with his side staring down the barrel of a shock series defeat if his team go down to Queensland tonight at ANZ Stadium.
The back-to-back series winning coach has come under fire for his selections which saw the Blues drop Game I in Adelaide to one of the weakest Maroons sides in recent history.
“I’m ignorant to it all,” Fittler told The Daily Telegraph.
“People will always use the popularity of Origin to bring attention to themselves, or their agendas.
“I haven’t heard any commentary on the game nor am I concerned about anyone’s opinion.
“Criticism has always been a part of Origin. It’s what makes it the most intense arena.
“I have staff I trust and players I believe in. The rest is noise. We need to win a game.”
