Penrith Panthers great Luke Lewis wants to see his old side against Canberra in this year’s grand final at ANZ Stadium.

Speaking to ABC Grandstand, Lewis said while he had his preferences, any side could win through to next week’s decider.

“I’d love to see Canberra make the grand final after the way they played last year and lost. I’d like to see them have another crack at it,” Lewis said.

“And I’d love to see them meet Penrith there, although they’re (Panthers) far from a certainty against Souths.

“The best thing about this weekend is that there are two two-horse races.

“Whichever team turns up and is willing to put in the hard work, the greatest week of their lives is just around the corner.”
