Legend Nathan Hindmarsh is worried for Sydney Roosters skipper Boyd Cordner and ongoing injuries that will see the forward miss the premiers’ opening round clash against the Penrith Panthers.

“These injuries are starting to concern me a little bit with Boyd,” Hindmarsh told The Late Show With Matty Johns.

“Soft tissue injuries at the moment, he’s going to miss Round 1, he missed the World Club Challenge.

“I understand the World Club Challenge, missing that, but do you miss Round 1? I don’t think you miss Round 1.

“I’m a little concerned injury-wise for Boyd.

“He’s got a long-term contract remaining – I don’t know if he will see out that contract.”
