Wests Tigers coach Michael Maguire will take an almost full-strength squad to Rotorua for this weekend’s trial against the Warriors.
Maguire did not play several stars including Luke Brooks, Benji Marshall and Joey Leilua in the side’s 32-4 loss to the Panthers at the weekend but did have the scores locked at 4 at half-time. Maguire then rested most of his top players available and were soundly beaten in the second stanza.

“I was pleased with the first half but there’s still plenty to work on,” Maguire said.
“I thought people like Zane Musgrove and Billy Walters performed at a high level for their first hit-out with the club.
“The second half we were off by a fair way,” he admitted.
“I was very purposely giving everyone at the club a run at this level and then next week I’ll take a squad of 23 to Rotorua so I’ll be narrowing it down.”
