South Sydney Rabbitohs great and premiership-winner John Sutton will retire at season’s end according to a report from The Daily Telegraph.
Sutton debuted during a dark time for the battling Rabbitohs but his longevity saw him part of the club’s resurgence and eventual grand final victory over Canterbury in 2014.

The versatile ball player, as captain, held the trophy aloft at ANZ Stadium after South Sydney’s first premiership in 43 years.
So far, Sutton has played 329 games for his beloved Bunnies, played two games for City Origin and made one appearance for the Prime Minister’s XIII in 2005.
