Former South Sydney centre Hymel Hunt says he is that excited about playing his former team in Friday night Football that he has been “losing sleep”.

The Knights travel to ANZ Stadium where Hunt will oppose Rabbitohs recruit James Roberts.

“He’s obviously an awesome player and I can’t wait,” Hunt said.

Hunt is off contract at season’s end but has left negotiations to his manager.

“I said to him I just want to focus on my footy. That’s what I’ve been doing since I got here but I want to stay at the Knights as long as I can.

“I love it here. I love the playing group, I love the fans, club, the town, everything.”
