If ya smellllllllll… what Daniel Vidot is cookin’?

Okay, so it’s not quite Wrestlemania in front of 50,000 people just yet but we can report former NRL winger Daniel Vidot has had his first match under the WWE banner.

Unfortunately, it wasn’t the result we were hoping for with ‘The Untamed’ getting pinned by Mansoor Al-Shehail.

According to the Wrestling Observer, Al-Shehail “..taught the crowd the word “welcome” in Arabic. Vidot missed a spear in the corner, allowing Mansoor to cradle him for the pin.”

The match took place in front of a crowd estimated to be around 400 people in Jacksonville, Florida.

Fellow former pro rugby league player Luke Menzies also wrestled on the card and won his match with a head butt.

Vidot debuted in the NRL back in 2009, playing for Canberra, St George Illawarra, Brisbane and Gold Coast.

His arrival in the WWE comes almost a decade after the wrestling giant showed interest in nabbing former Parramatta Eels cult hero Fui Fui Moi Moi after seeing him in an issue of Inside Sport magazine.
