Wests Tigers legend Benji Marshall has revealed just what happened when teammates heard half Luke Brooks had re-signed with the club.
Speaking to foxsports.com.au, Marshall explained how the entire team stood as one and gave him a standing ovation.
“I’m really happy about that [Brooks re-signing] and seeing his development. There was a lot of pressure and expectation on him over the years,” Marshall said.
“I think for our club it is very exciting for the fans and the players. When it got announced the team all stood up and gave him a mad standing ovation.

“We were just pumped because there were rumours out there that clubs were chasing him and it was a massive moment for our club.”
Marshall also didn’t rule out playing on post-2019.
