Sea Eagles legend Brett Stewart to make club comeback

He is arguably Manly-Warringah’s greatest ever fullback alongside Graham Eadie and now it appears Des Hasler is bringing Brett Stewart back to Brookvale in a coaching capacity.

According to The Mole on the Wide World of Sports website, ‘The Snake’ will be brought back to mentor the club’s current champion custodian, Tom Trbojevic.

Stewart will also work with the other outside backs.

It follows the return of fellow greats under Hasler including Noel Cleal, Matt Ballin and Michael Monaghan.

Stewart represented both Australia and New South Wales, won premierships and amassed a whopping 163 tries from 233 NRL games.
