The Wests Tigers have kicked coach Ivan Cleary off the bus and have replaced him with current Kiwi boss Michael Maguire according to a report from The Sydney Morning Herald.
Maguire’s deal is said to be worth $2.5 million over three seasons.
NRL.com is also reporting that the Panthers are set to announce Cleary as coach from next season.
So now you wonder – did he get kicked off the bus or did he jump months ago?
Cleary didn’t appear at Wests Tigers grand final lunch with tensions high between he and Wests Tigers CEO Justin Pascoe.
It looks like he may have been heading back to Penrith since day one.
