The NZ Herald is reporting that the Auckland-based Warriors outfit could be set to let their superstar halfback Shaun Johnson go.
Johnson is contracted to the Warriors for 2019 but his time at the club could be coming to a surprising end.
“The 28-year-old has been the Warriors chief playmaker since he first burst on to the scene in 2011 and retaining him has always been the club’s number one priority – until now,” David Skipworth’s story reads.
That kick from Shaun Johnson though 👌

“In a move that would previously have seemed unthinkable, the Herald understands the Auckland outfit have told Johnson to explore his options and test his value with rival clubs on the open market.”
The Warriors are reportedly frustrated by Johnson’s inability to find the consistency of the game’s othet elite playmakers.
It may just be us but we can’t see Johnson playing for anyone else.
Then again, we thought the same about Cooper Cronk and Mitchell Pearce.
