The last five-eigth to win a premiership in St George Illawarra colours says the Dragons are “hanging on by a thread” ahead of their elimination final against the Broncos in Brisbane.
“Look to be hanging on by a thread,” Soward wrote for NRL.com.
“The frustration is that the same things keep happening, and if you keep doing the same thing you’ll keep getting the same result, and that’s the definition of insanity.
Well done Corey Oates, our @maccas Man of the Match thanks to the Broncos Burger supporting families with sick kids. 50c from every burger supports Ronald McDonald House South East Queensland #NRLBroncosManly pic.twitter.com/08rAjVhop0

“The Dragons have been really good in patches but really disappointing in others.”
Soward also believes the Broncos can win the competition if star playmaker Anthony Milford can continue his good form.
“When he takes his game to the elite level Brisbane are very hard to beat. They just look faster than everybody else. A real premiership smokey.”
