Off-field dramas haven’t affected us: Seibold

South Sydney coach Anthony Seibold couldn’t have asked for a better week of preparation despite the off-field issues that could have ruined the club’s season.

The Rabbitohs mentor says his team is ready for their preliminary final showdown against rivals Sydney Roosters.

“I think last week it sort of hit everyone by surprise with the accusations,” Seibold told Macqaurie Sports Radio.

“We had to focus on a game which was really important for us as a club and we worked so hard to put ourselves into this position.

“We worked really hard this week and had a really focused week (and) from a training point of view I couldn’t be happier with our preparation.”

The Rabbitohs and Roosters meet for the final time at the Sydney Football Stadium before it’s knocked down.
