Sydney Roosters legend Anthony Minichiello thinks his old fullback rival and Melbourne custodian Billy Slater shouldn’t be suspended for his shoulder charge last Friday night at AAMI Park.
Slater could have played his last ever game if he is scratched by the NRL judiciary.
“Look, it was a shoulder charge but to miss a grand final and his last game – I think all the players, even all the Rooster boys want to see him play,” Minichiello told 2GB.
“I don’t know if it was that bad.
“It’s a tough one, but I hope he gets off.”
"It's not a concerning act, it's a brilliant play!"
