Former Kangaroo backing Roosters to get even better against old rivals

Parramatta legend Nathan Hindmarsh knows a thing or two about September heartache which makes him a pretty good judge this time of the year.

Writing for Big League magazine, Hindmarsh believes the Sydney Roosters still have room to improve ahead of their blockbuster showdown against bitter rivals South Sydney on Saturday night.

“Watching the Roosters, I don’t think they’ve played to their best yet,” the former Kangaroo said.

“That’s a scary thing because they’ve still got something left in them.

“There’s added pressure on the Roosters, given they’ve lost three of the past four preliminary finals, but they’ve had the week off and they’ve got one of tbe best rosters, so I think they’ll sneak home.”
