New Zealand Warriors legend Simon Mannering will officially retire from the NRL at the end of the season 2018 with an announcement set to be made later today.

Mannering just recently stood down from Kiwi International selection and will now make this his final year of first grade rugby league.

It was originally reported by the NZ Herald and confirmed soon after.
