Manu Ma’u says the Eels have nothing but love for Brad Arthur

Parramatta Eels veteran Manu Ma’u is backing besieged coach Brad Arthur along with the rest of his teammates despite the struggling club starting the season with just two wins from eleven rounds.

The Eels went down to the travelling Warriors last weekend in Sydney despite the visitors missing both Shaun Johnson and Roger Tuivasa-Sheck.

“A hundred percent. We all love B.A,” Ma’u said.

“It’s just not happening for us out on the field but Brad isn’t out there on the field.”

Ma’u put the pressure back on himself and the other experienced Parramatta players.

“Us older players have to make sure the young boys don’t see us upset or down, because they look up to us. So we keep our spirits up and make sure we keep turning up for as it long as it takes to turn.”

The Eels play the Broncos in Brisbane this Thursday.
