Brisbane Broncos CEO Paul White admit he has met with Melbourne coach Craig Bellamy but denies being in negotiations.

White has stressed Bennett will be coach until the end of 2019.

In another twist, White says it was Bennett who pushed him to meet with Bellamy.

Coach Bennett was next up to face the media and said it was he who went to White a month ago to “initiate” a succession plan. The legendary coach confirmed he would see out his deal which ends at the conclusion of 2019. Other clubs had already started sounding Bennett out:
