Josh Reynolds already making Wests Tigers a better team

Veteran Wests Tigers forward Chris Lawrence has praised new recruit Josh Reynolds’ attitude to training since moving across from Canterbury-Bankstown.

Reynolds will start the season in the halves with Luke Brooks.

“Josh definitely brings a lot of energy and enthusiasm and he’s a really competitive bloke,” Lawrence told the Big Sports Breakfast on Sky Sports Radio.

“He certainly brings that out in all the little games we play.

“He’s very competitive and that rubs off on a lot of players which is really good.

“It makes everything we do at training ultra-competitive and gets the best out of everyone.”

Lawrence, a potential skipper of the team in 2018, revealed that so many new faces at training had changed things dramatically at Concord.

“It definitely has been the biggest change at the club since I’ve been here, with something like 15 new faces.

“It has been a massive change, and walking into training on the first day almost felt like I was walking into a new club. It’s good, it’s refreshing and it’s good to see everyone fitting in so well.”

Wests Tigers first trial is against North Queensland on the 17th of February in Cairns.
