Former Australian forward Dave Taylor has been sacked by the Toronto Wolfpack without playing a game for the club.

Toronto released Taylor, Fui Fui Moi Moi and Englishman Ryan Bailey after an incident that occurred during pre-season in Portugal.

Taylor’s deal was reportedly worth a $1 million a season over three years.

Wolfpack statement:

“Ryan Bailey, Fuifui Moimoi and Dave Taylor have left Toronto Wolfpack by mutual agreement.

“The Club thank the players for their efforts, and wish them well in their future careers.”

Ashton Sims, Josh McCrone and Cory Paterson are now the most high profile players at the club.
