He has represented his country and won a premiership but remarkably tonight’s State of Origin decider at Suncorp Stadium is Queensland winger Valentine Holmes’ first top flight game at the venue.
Holmes is yet to play an NRL game or representative match at the famous ground.
“Everyone here telling you how good that stadium is, it’s one of the best stadiums they say in the world to play at with the atmosphere,” Holmes said.
“For the fans it makes you feel like you’re right there and in the game.
“I haven’t played a first grade game there so I don’t really know what it’s like.
“I’m excited to get out there on Wednesday.”
