Penrith Panthers forward Trent Merrin believes former St George Illawarra Dragons teammate Tyson Frizell would be a worthy replacement as skipper of the New South Wales Blues in Game III if Boyd Cordner can’t overcome a calf injury.
“It would be nice to see big Tyson Frizell lead ‘em out,” Merrin told the Big Sports Breakfast on Thursday morning.
“I think he’s definitely a leader and he does a great job at club level too. Me personally I’d like to see him take on the reins.”
