Shaun Kenny-Dowall will be a Newcastle Knight for the next two and a half seasons after signing with the club.
The centre or winger was recently released by the Sydney Roosters and pleaded guilty to drug possession and put on a good behaviour bond.
“I am putting my recent challenges behind me and look forward to starting this new chapter at the Knights,” he said.
“Newcastle is a proud rugby league community and I want to repay the club for the faith they have shown in me.”
