The South Sydney Rabbitohs are receiving some backlash from social media for their ticket pricing at Friday night’s match against the Gold Coast Titans.
Despite both sides missing plenty of players including the drawing power of superstar Jarryd Hayne and the fact that both sides are near the bottom of the table – fans game enough to head out to ANZ Stadium were treated to prices as high as $70 just to get into ground.
To sit in “The Burrow” would have set you back a whopping $42 per person despite there being thousands of empty seats anyway:
