Parramatta says Norman and Moses will be better for the run this week

The Parramatta Eels say new halves combination Corey Norman and Mitchell Moses will be better this weekend after a thrashing at the hands of North Queensland in Darwin in their first hit out together.

Parramatta play St George Illawarra Dragons on Sunday at ANZ Stadium.

Eels utility Brad Takairangi conceded that Moses and Norman’s one training session last week wasn’t enough to stop Johnathan Thurston’s Cowboys.

“Already we’ve had two sessions together this week and they’ve looked really sharp,” Takairangi said.
“Normie has that game under his belt and he’s going to be better for it.

“Mitch has been really good, when he came in we were surprised how quickly he picked up our shapes and our calls. He’s had a couple of weeks to steer the side around.”
