New South Wales prop Aaron Woods has likened Queensland rookie Coen Hess to Blues wrecking ball Andrew Fifita ahead of State of Origin II at ANZ Stadium.
“I’m not too sure how much time he’s going to get but I’m sure they’ll go to him a lot. He’s really good on the edge,” Woods said.
“He’s got really good feet and strength, leg speed – sort of like Fifita, they can do things other blokes can’t do.”
Meanwhile Maroons prop Dylan Napa, only in his second Origin match, says he will be better for getting his first game under his belt. Napa will partner first-gamer Jarrod Wallace in the engine room.
“I feel more relaxed and very excited,” Napa said.
“I love nothing more than the big stage and putting my body on the line for my brothers in Maroon.”
