St George Illawarra Dragons halfback Josh McCrone could be on his way to the Toronto Wolfpack according to reports from England.

Toronto is headed to Championship rugby league in 2018 as they continue to dominate League 1 with a 10-0 record to start the season.

The club has big plans for McCrone and have put in a big offer to lure the former Country Origin player across to the Wolfpack.

McCrone has been impressive for the Dragons this year after replacing first-choice half Drew Hutchison who suffered a season-ending injury in pre-season.
