The Sydney Roosters have confirmed the signing of New South Wales Blues fullback James Tedesco on a four-year deal beginning in 2018.
Tedesco, a Camden junior, joins the Bondi club after a tumultuous time at Wests Tigers.
“James is a tremendously exciting talent whose signature we are pleased to have secured and we look forward to welcoming him to the Roosters in 2018,” said Sydney Roosters CEO, Joe Kelly.
The 2016 Dally M Fullback of the Year leaves Wests Tigers along with Aaron Woods and Mitchell Moses.
Wests Tigers CEO Justin Pascoe recently put a deadline on decision’s from both Woods and Tedesco with deadline passing.
The join-venture has already begun its rebuild by signing Kiwi International Ben Matulino and representative five-eigth Josh Reynolds from the Bulldogs with rumours suggesting New Zealand Warriors star Tui Lolohea could also be headed to the club.
