James Hooper is reporting on Fox Sports that Wests Tigers five-eigth Mitchell Moses has knocked back a $3 million three-year offer to remain at his current club and has reportedly asked for an immediate release to join the Parramatta Eels.

The report suggests that Moses wants out of the club right away after Ivan Cleary took over as Wests Tigers coach earlier this week and that the deal is guaranteed for 2018 and beyond.

Whether Cleary and Wests Tigers want to keep the underperforming Moses is another story.

Wests Tigers may have dodged a bullet.

Moses is yet to fulfill his potential and the club can now spend their money elsewhere.
