Dragons will score plenty of points: Vaughan

Recruit Paul Vaughan says the new-look St George Illawarra Dragons will score plenty of points in 2017.

The Dragons have lost Benji Marshall and Mitch Rein while signing Cameron McInnes from South Sydney.

They will also be without first-choice half Drew Hutchinson who suffered a season-ending injury in pre-season.

“A lot has been said about the attack here, but I think the attack’s unreal,” Vaughan said.

“We’ve got a great forward pack and I think the backs, running off the forward pack, are unreal. It’s a dangerous team and the forwards pose a threat themselves, with guys like Friz (Tyson Frizell), JT (Joel Thompson and (Jack) de Belin.

“I don’t think we’ll have a problem scoring points this year.”
