St George Illawarra-bound Ben Hunt says he is relieved his future has been settled and can now concentrate on his final season at the Brisbane Broncos and a possible premiership before he heads to Wollongong.

Hunt will join the Dragons from 2018 on a whopping $1million per season contract.

“It was good to get thing sorted before the start of the year,” Hunt told AAP.

“It can be unsettling for everyone not knowing where you’ll be playing and the media speculation that goes with it.

“Now it’s done I can concentrate on playing my best for Brisbane. I am not a Dragons player until next year so I am very much part of this Broncos squad and want to finish up here with a premiership.”

Brisbane will play Warrington this weekend in England.
